The NNA avocado is usually not ready to eat immediately as it is coming direct from the farm to your home.
Unripe or not-yet-ready-to-eat avocados should be stored at room temperature to help with ripening. So leave them in the kitchen in a fruit bowl, out of direct sunlight. This may take up to 5 days. When ready the skin will press in and move in to the touch as the interior flesh is soft.
